Check balance and see what you have spent

Open the Glede app and select your card. The balance is at the top, and below it are all transactions with date and amount.

The balance shows 0

1. Check that the gift card is linked to the correct phone number

The Glede app only shows gift cards and balances linked to the phone number you are logged in with. If the gift is linked to another number, it will not appear in the app.

   Open the gable link

   Use the link you received in the SMS or email.

   Select 'Change phone number'

   Scroll down to the bottom of the gable link. Under 'Need help?' select 'Change phone number' and enter the same phone number that you use to log in to the Glede app.

   Open the Glede app again

   When the number is updated, the gift card will automatically appear in the app.

2. Check if the gable link has expired

The gift link expires if the gift card is not activated within 4 months. Then the gift card or balance will not be visible in the app. Open the gift link to check the status. If it has expired, you can see how to request an extension.

3. Check if the fee has been deducted from the balance

Is the gift card showing, but the balance is 0? Check the transactions in the app. If it says Account Maintenance Fee or kontovedlikeholdsgebyr, the card was activated more than 12 months ago. Then 34 NOK is deducted per month from the card's balance until it is empty.

If you do not find any purchases or fees that explain the balance, contact us with the gift ID and preferably a screenshot of the transaction list.

Use up the remaining amount

If you have 87 NOK left on the card and are going to shop for 300 NOK, you ask the cashier for split payment: 'Can you charge 87 kroner on this card, and the rest on this one?' Most checkout systems support that.

Online, installment payments are less often possible. Then the trick is to shop for an amount that is lower than the balance — or to use the remaining amount in a physical store.

Can I combine multiple gift cards?

The balance cannot be transferred between cards, but you can use multiple gift cards on the same purchase by requesting partial payment for each of them. All your cards are in the app.
