Invite colleagues and choose a role
How to invite colleagues to the company account, and what an administrator can do that a member cannot.
Updated 18 August 2026
Several people in the company can each have their own user on the same account. You invite them under Users and access in the settings, and at the same time choose which role they should have.
Only administrators can invite. If you are a member, you must ask an administrator in the company to do so — you will find their names in the same user overview.
How to invite a colleague
Go to Settings → Users and access
The address is send.glede.app/settings/users.
Press "Invite user"
Enter first name, last name and email address. All three are required.
Select role
Member is selected in advance. See the difference below — you can change the role later.
Press "Invite"
The colleague receives an email, and appears in the user overview with the status Invited until they have accepted.
Administrator or member?
Administrator has access to the entire company's Glede account:
- Sees orders, gifts, invoices and feedback from all users
- Invites and removes users, and changes roles
- Manages enterprise settings, API keys and access requests
Member has access to his own work in Glede:
- Creates and sends gifts — just like an admin
- See their own orders, gifts, invoices and feedback
- Can't manage users, roles, or company settings
A member can therefore send gifts completely freely. The difference is what they see — only their own — and that they cannot change anything that applies to the entire company. If someone needs to see all the orders, they must be an administrator.
What your colleague gets
They will receive an email with a link. If they are already a Glede user, they accept the invitation directly; if they don't have it, they create a user first. The invitation is valid for 30 days.
The email does not say what role they have been given. They only see it when they are inside. If someone is to have administrator access, it is worth speaking up yourself.
Change role, resend or remove
- Change role: press the pencil icon on the row in the user overview. You cannot change your own role — ask another administrator to do so.
- Resend the invitation: press the send icon on a row with status Invited. The previous invitation is replaced by a new one.
- Remove an invite or a user: tap the trash can icon. Gifts that have already been sent are not affected.
If you see a role that you cannot change, it is an older account set up by us. Get in touch, and we'll sort it out.
Let colleagues request access themselves
Instead of inviting one by one, as an administrator you can turn on access based on email domain. Then colleagues with the same domain can request access when they register, and you approve each request.
- They always become members — you can upgrade them afterwards.
- They must confirm their identity with BankID before the request reaches you.
- Requests expire after 30 days if no one processes them.
- Private email domains (gmail, hotmail and similar) cannot be used.
If you have invited someone who has already requested access, the invitation takes precedence — they do not have to wait for approval.
